Donna Manier

I am currently a Faith Community Nurse – formerly called Parish Nurse ands a Community Health Worker and adhere to a philosophy of Whole Health Care. For the past 15 years, I have served as the Nursing/Medical Coordinator for the North Pacific Union Conference Regional Convocation. I earned a Bachelor degree in nursing and a Master degree in Nursing Education and am Board Certified in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. I was a professor of nursing in Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree Nursing programs, mentored Master Degree nursing students, and currently working on a Doctor of Nursing Degree in Education. As a Minority Mental Health Specialist, I practiced as a therapist for over 30 years in private practice and for a short time with Catholic Community Services, serving adults, families, and children. My expertise lies in Mental Health for all ages, senior mental & physical Health-teaching self-management of chronic health conditions, such as Diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis; as a consultant in Early Learning Education served administration, families, & children preparing them to move on, from a health perspective, into elementary education.
This is my 6th decade in nursing and I have amassed an extensive repertoire of medical/nursing issues from an experiential level to being a master teacher of same.
